Logan Vault Backup is a personal utility operated by its owner. It is not open for public registration.

Access and use

The utility uses Google authorization to access only Google Drive files associated with the app. It uses that access to create encrypted backup archives, list and retrieve backup copies, verify recovery, and delete expired backups. Backup contents are encrypted locally before being uploaded.

Storage and sharing

Backup files are stored in the owner’s Google Drive. Local copies and recovery checks are performed on the owner’s computer. Authorization credentials are stored locally for unattended operation. The utility does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. It does not make backup contents publicly accessible.

Retention and control

The utility retains daily, weekly, and monthly backup copies according to its configured retention policy. The owner can disable the utility, revoke its access through Google Account settings, and manage backup copies in Google Drive. Revoking access does not automatically delete existing backups.

Google API data

Logan Vault Backup’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
